My cat had a food allergy to this product! I feed my cat regular OTC cat food and while I wish I had a little more for his needs as he hasn't been playful lately he has put on a little weight. I haven't noticed any symptoms for a month. , he suddenly developed a black substance on his chin that soon became bloody and filled with pus, and also vomited for the first time in a long time. I took it to check and they confirmed it was indeed a food allergy! He hasn't eaten in about 2 weeks and his chin has finally healed and his appetite and energy has returned. My other cat didn't care, he hardly ate or scooped food out of the bowl. in protest or try to bury him with clothes. Something might be wrong. My cats would eat any over-the-counter cat food I would suggest they try, but I've given them something more expensive, even grain-free, and suddenly it's the worst thing they can decorate their food bowls with.
