I have used similar ones in the past with ease. Screws are not required. They come with screws and you really have to use them. However, you will need a right-angle drill bit. The much higher cost of those that slide open versus those that don't becomes difficult to justify when you also have to use screws. However, you solve the problem if you have banks that need them. Now there are built-in LED mods that offer both mounting systems, so I'll be buying those in the future.
