This device is well suited for its purpose. USB is slow but works as expected for USB 1.1. The interface is ready to use once you get the feel for it. At the moment what I'm most interested in is the ability to cascade with other KVMs of the same brand from IOGEAR. I'm buying the gcs1716kitu (IOGREAR 16 port KVM) separately to test this functionality. If it works I will update here. The included cables were a big, albeit unexpected, plus. The screen size is decent. There is nothing to admire, but nothing to complain about either. This device does everything you would expect from KVM.
