As described. I read several reviews that it was thick for decorations. I embroider and sell jewelry and my customer loved it. Its excellent value for money. It frays when cut, but my ends are sewn together so it didn't bother me. However, if you are thinking of associating it with jewelry, this might not be the right choice.
