I bought this to work with my old iPhone 4s and use some iPhone apps while cycling, specifically Strava maps and music. I like driving out of town, driving and getting lost while driving, so having a map in front of you is very helpful. Of course I could have spent a lot more on a Garmin or a bike computer, but with an old 4s and a relatively cheap price for a waterproof case and bike mount I figured why not. Also, I can download about 10GB of music, so I feel like I'm not completely alone. Waterproof Case: LifeProof FRE Waterproof Case for iPhone 4/4s - Retail Box - PINK/GRAY (Factory Adjusted) The mount itself works well, sitting fairly flat on my Cannondale, horizontally. It comes with various sizes of spacers in case you have a thick or thin stem (or anything in between). It stays in place when I step on potholes or rough terrain. The case is easy to remove so the iPhone doesn't grow legs or get distracted when I park in front of the store. In principle, this mountain does what it is supposed to.
