Brighter than expected in a good way
40 feet seems hard to come by with LED lighting so I found my options limited. At first I was concerned that these lamps would be too bright, but they turned out to be perfect for lighting our patio! The shade is warm enough to relax outside but strong enough to comfortably see what you're doing at night. The best thing for me is that I can now barbecue outside at night without a flashlight! A note: I found a case where the light "stopped working". I found that one of the plastic clips I used to attach the strip to the cornice snapped off one of the diodes. Moving the clamp a few inches brought it back to life immediately and I haven't had any problems since.
