I bought this blender to make smoothies. Well I can't mix the strawberries and I have pieces left over. The smoothie machine should make it "smooth". The instructions put this container on the dishwasher, but he can't clean it. You must rinse the item well (e.g. prewash) before putting it in the dishwasher, otherwise you will have to wash it again. It's easy to use, but it got stuck in the on position and I liked never having to unzip it. I don't know what happened there. I wish I could send it back and get a different brand. I would not recommend buying these people.
