Review on πŸ’§ AHAVA Essential Day Moisturizer for Normal to Dry Skin, 0.51 Fl Oz by Natalie Gregory

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Small amount, not as good as Dermud

I've been an Ahava fan for about 20 years since I was presented with some samples at the World Market at the Epcot Disney Center when I was there with mine children. I filled my husband's suitcase with Ahab salts and for some reason didn't try their hand and foot creams until I got home. I squeezed every last drop out of that little tube and then tried to figure out how to get more. It's not that easy in Hawaii and I've considered importing it in bulk from Israel. So far I haven't come across anything more moisturizing than Ahava's Dermid collection, although some of them are very good. (I'm a confirmed Lush addict) but I still prefer Dermud. Now that I can get it from Revain I will never be without it. However, I really wanted to try their day cream. It's quite expensive so I wanted to try it before buying the full size. When I bought this I thought it would be a lot bigger so that's part of my estimate for the size. The other part is that I don't like it as much as their hand and foot creams or what I currently use (Algenist and Drunk Elephant). Those familiar with these brands know I set the bar high here, but I found what works for me and cleaned up the tiny sample vials and bought what I felt was best for me. I don't think I would buy this again. I love Ahava products in general and have recommended them many times. They're all safe, natural, clean (and have a higher standard than most when they say clean). I love that I don't have to worry about toxins or petroleum products. I think it's a good product but not as moisturizing as their Dermud products and I personally prefer Algenist and Drunk Elephant face creams.

  • Sample for a year
Cons
