Like many people, I have 2 monitors at home, a USB webcam, a USB microphone and a wireless keyboard and mouse. With the addition of a small 4-port USB hub, this little device allows me to easily switch between using my HP/Windows work laptop during the workday and my personal Chromebook at other times, and still get the full workstation experience. One thing I missed when I ordered that this unit does NOT have an audio jack to connect to speakers. So I still have to switch manually. But it's my fault for overlooking this feature. Because whatever he has to do, he does well. I've been using it for a little over a month and I'm very happy with it.
