Review on Brooks Launch Black Ebony Blue Sports & Fitness by Steven Cox

I have run with the Brooks Launch 6 for the past few years and was excited to try the Launch 8 as it was time to replace mine. I was cautiously optimistic after reading the reviews that they weren't as good as previous Launch models, but I'm sorry to say that these reviews are true. Not to say these shoes wouldn't fit anyone else, but they're nothing like the shoes I fell in love with. The Launch 8 felt narrower in the toe (I have medium sized feet) and generally less comfortable than my old pair. I also ordered a pair of Ghost 14s and ended up keeping them for myself as I liked the little softness, support and sock space they offered. It took me a few runs to get used to it, but I'm in love again. These shoes are a bit small like all Brooks I've tried on so I went up a half size from an 8.5 to a 9. I will miss my Launch 6s but I'm glad I found another Brooks that suits me. .
