When I received the package, right out of the box I noticed 5 different air bubbles between the touch screen and the LCD panel. Instead of a refund I opted for a replacement. When I got it the second time there were no air bubbles, the battery works fine and I made sure all the connections work. Even if the first one was just an unfortunate defect, this laptop still falls short in quality for one reason: the touchscreen is responsive to the metal chassis it's touching, if I set it not to go to sleep when I lift the lid close I opened Microsoft Paint and closed the lid to see where touches are recognized. In 3 seconds it recognized about 50 different touches since about 50 different dots were drawn on it. Putting your laptop to sleep when you close the lid (which is also the default) shouldn't bother you. But since there is no other way to turn off the display, I consider this a serious design flaw that alone justifies the deduction of 2 stars from this rating. My solution is to disable the touchscreen module in device manager and it works. for me because I was looking for a compact mini laptop and not a touchscreen device, but other than that I would return this laptop in a heartbeat. The manufacturer blocked the screen rotation and won't let you turn it off. For example, the screen rotation settings are grayed out in Settings so you can't turn them off. My solution to this problem was to disable the gyroscope module in device manager and that works for me as I will not be using any software that requires the use of a gyroscope. Perhaps a clean reinstall of Windows would be the ideal solution, but I didn't want to risk "faking" a return policy if I had to return this device due to defects I might discover over the next 30 days. (but that's not one of the reasons for subtracting the stars) is that this laptop is a fanless device that uses the metal case itself to dissipate heat and obviously the laptop gets warm when it's running. When I used Throttlestop.exe to check the temperature, I noticed that the CPU temperature went up to 78 degrees Celsius in Bluestacks (which is not what you want if you want the device to last longer) when there were no restrictions but the laptop sleeve itself got hot. My solution to this problem is to set performance limits on Throttlestop.exe so the CPU doesn't consume too much power. I've found that somewhere around 6W7W the limit for a sustained performance increase is a good balance when it comes to balancing performance (can still hit over 2.0GHz in some normal use cases) and heat dissipation (CPU temp around 5060 degrees Fahrenheit). Celsius) . Completely disabling the turbo function reduced the power consumption to around 3.5 watts at 4045 degrees Celsius, but the notebook became too sluggish.
