This replaced a Kohler 7W flow through generator. This is much better. Have a 48" x 30" x 80" steam shower with it Seat. Steam Planet is more convenient than Kohler (it was too hot or produced more steam for that small shower). Now my wife will use the steam shower again. It has an external temperature sensor. The temperature of the controller fluctuates more than the last block, which was an internal sensor in the keyboard. It will drop 3 degrees and then start steaming again, but this setting seems more comfortable. I've only had the device a few months but use it every day during the winter (15 minutes to 113, then flushing with cold water for less than a minute, then another 4 minutes back to 113). I like it. The only complaint is that it takes longer to start, around 4 minutes. Not a big deal as it gives me time to drink a glass of water and clean my tongue (the enclosed space let me examine my tongue scraper first thing in the morning to remove morning breath).
