Review on FirsTime 10055 Walnut Round Clock by Steven Stager

Quiet: At the usual distance or even close, the watch I received makes no noise at all, does not buzz or tick. If I put my ear directly to it, I hear a faint, slightly mechanical wuzzawuzzawuzza as the gears work. If you need it quieter, do I suggest a digital watch? They are beautifully designed. I deal with clocks and clock design. In my opinion the hour hand should reach the hour hand and the minute hand should reach the minute hand. Simple, but so many hours and hours (I'm looking at you Omega SMP) are wrong. (On the other hand, my Seiko Diver has been completely customized to achieve the desired look and functionality, different hands, day and date wheels, bracelet and movement. One day I will either have my SMP hands replaced or just sell this Ding.) On this watch, the graceful, pointed hands easily reach their indexes, greatly improving legibility. The wooden rim is real wood too, a real bonus. It's an inexpensive mass-production watch, but it's better than its price tag, so that's a big plus. They also look good on the wall. I have never heard of this brand but would certainly purchase more watches from them should the need arise.
