Review on πŸ”ͺ Fiskars 24x36 Inch Self Healing Rotary Cutting Mat in Grey - 12-83727097J by Wendy Rodriguez

Worst self healing rug, don't get the hype πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

This rug is the worst. It doesn't heal itself, and even with the new wear-resistant rotating blade, I couldn't cut through a single layer of quilting fabric at once, which resulted in me running back and forth sawing the fabric, causing cutting errors. and blunt my spinning blade. I was wondering how YouTubers made it so easy. I thought it was my technique but when I tried to cut on the green mat I was amazed at how easy my cuts were. This rug feels like hard plastic, not a velvety green mat that feels good. I've used this brand of self-healing mats twice, decades apart, and both are terrible. The only thing I think this is good for is kids crafts where you don't have to worry about damaging the rug. Otherwise, get a GREEN rug from any brand. Pros: - Easily found in major stores - Measurements on mat are accurate and clear - Cuts will not go through mat, protects surface Cons - Cuts cannot go through fabric on first try - Cut lines are visible on mat Mat, doesn't heal well - rotations can be dull blades
