Here is a long review. Lol I bought this dash cam thinking I would never be able to install it myself. relieved to know they have an installation video for me to follow. I don't have any tools on hand so I had to get a little creative and use a plastic knife to poke the wire in, the end result is pretty neat. It took a while to get used to this digital mirror, just like after updating your iOS system, it takes a little getting used to, but I really like it. I'm a nervous driver and with this mirror I can just tap to see the back of my car when I want to. My car has a backup camera that turns on when my car is reversing (so I didn't feel the need to hook up a backup camera to the reverse lights, but you can do that if you need to), but the dashcam lets me make a copy at any time of the backup, and that gives me peace of mind. And of course it works as a dash cam too, as long as the car is on it's always recording and all crash footage is saved automatically. So far nothing has happened to my car while parking, so I couldn't test the parking mode.
