LOVE these little things! We have a two story ranch with a garage on the ground floor. We have a door closer at the bottom of the stairs to prevent pets from coming out by accidentally leaving the door open. It's great except when you come home with 20 grocery bags and the door won't stay open while you're trying to carry everything up the stairs. Enter the Tenby Easy-Step doorstop: problem solved! With busy hands we can lower the stopper with one foot and with busy hands lift it up again on the last ride and the door closes hands-free behind us! It worked perfectly. Fast forward to the storm door issue on the second floor deck. We live in an area where the wind blows almost all the time and can be quite strong: so strong that we have 2 gas piston closers on the outer storm door to keep the wind from tearing it. But even with two closers, we can't keep the door open if we want to. We install closers so that the door stays open and the wind presses on the gas pistons and eventually closes the door. Went back to the Revain app and ordered another one to install on the storm door. He holds! Even in strong winds, the door does not close! It's like I'm talking 30 mph gusts and we can still hold the door open. Very easy to install. So far it's been fine for 6 months. No signs of loosening at the attachment point on the door, as well as signs of wear that could lead to a malfunction. Very happy with this purchase!
