When trying on a new brand of shoe, it's always difficult to figure out which one fits. I usually stick with a brand because I know their shoes will fit me. Compared to them, they are quite free. Without socks, they move a lot and slip right off. At the same time, I have really unusual feet that might look better on others. I have to wear them with thick socks. Personally I don't mind, but to wear them barefoot I might be better off if they were smaller than my usual size. The quality is pretty good, but as someone who sews, I noticed that one of the side seams was misaligned. -- go outside, not forward. The other boot is stitched correctly so it's fairly easy to tell the difference. For those who love the historical significance of penny loafers and want to add a touch of character to them, they can hold pennies or dimes. Overall I like the shoes and find them very comfortable with thick socks. I wish they fitted a little better, but with odd feet, I don't blame the shoes, and at least there's a workaround - wear socks.
