We have 2 small dogs (12lbs and 14lbs). These seats have a hard plastic base and a plush insert that needs to fit over the edge of the plastic base. . The plush insert was too small to fit over the edge so it folded further into the base as the dog moved. The device is designed to be firmly attached to the car seat by wrapping the seat belt around the plastic base of the booster seat. , then fasten the seat belt. But the base of the booster is short; When our dogs leaned over the front edge, the pet seat tipped over. We sent both units back - we had to pay return postage (which was almost 50% of the cost of the seats). We don't laugh.
