Review on Kuryakyn 1622: Standard Motorcycle Clutch/Brake Mount for Harley-Davidson, Honda, Indian, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Victory, Yamaha Motorcycles - Black by Jason Ingram

Clean, accessible and durable

This works very well and is a very clean solid mount for my GPS. The plate screws perfectly into the back of the RAM mount for my Garmin GPS. Note: Kuryakyn and his vendors have a very short list of bikes that will accept him as a perch keeper. I have a Kawasaki Versys (7/8" handlebars) and was told the 1672 wouldn't work. This is ONLY because the spare metric bolts supplied by Kuryakin are too long and the bolts are the left (clutch) rod before it's all tightened. If you're a DIY type, you have two options for using this on more bikes: 1. Get shorter stainless steel bolts of the right length (2) from Fastenal or a good hardware store, or 2 .threaded onto the bolt with the correct nut or die, trim with a hacksaw or Dremel cutting wheel Loosen the nut/head of the bolt to align the threads on the end.

Pros
  • Mount Type: Vehicle specific
Cons
  • Only available in black
