Mounting screws were too short. I had to buy replacement screws and everything fitted together. Disappointed I had to go and spend MORE money but this is a really solid mount. 5 stars if the screws were longer.

This works very well and is a very clean solid mount for my GPS. The plate screws perfectly into the back of the RAM mount for my Garmin GPS. Note: Kuryakyn and his vendors have a very short list of bikes that will accept him as a perch keeper. I have a Kawasaki Versys (7/8" handlebars) and was told the 1672 wouldn't work.
