I like audio so I jumped at the opportunity to try this player. Here's my take: First impression: Looks stylish - love the style! It's pretty minimalist with a nice design. The turntable itself is fairly light (the heavier the better the quality) as are all the other components. It makes me feel like it's not a high-end turntable, but I think it's worth the price, so that's fine. Weights are also included and I think they might be for a turntable so that's a good thing. I love that it has an Audio-Technica pickup. The pickup is one of the most important parts to look out for when it comes to sound quality and Audio-Technica is a trusted brand so I think that's a good thing! My plastic needle cover appears to be missing but it was properly secured for shipping so all is fine. I love that you have a built in speaker and headphone jack for easy listening, but there are also RCA outputs on the back if you want to hook up a nicer speaker setup. In use: The sound quality from the built-in speaker isn't very good, but it's fine for the average user. As for the price, given all of its features, I didn't expect the speaker to have amazing audio fidelity or anything. If you need higher quality speakers, you can always connect them to your player to quickly improve the sound quality. I love that this thing has dual bluetooth capability! So you can play music from your phone OR play your recordings through any external Bluetooth speaker. This is a really cool feature! The 3 speed options are good so it can work with different post types. Overall I think this is a great entry level turntable with some great modern features! I would recommend it to anyone looking for this type of player.
