Review on TELEISN Remote Session Waterproof Control by Chuck Chen

Just received the remote after a month + after shipping by Swiss Post from China? The manual says nothing about working with the Hero 8. It says something about updating the firmware, but there are only manuals in the given place on the internet. The Telesin website doesn't even list this remote as a product and it doesn't have any downloads anyway. The remote listed is only for heroes up to 6. I'll try it once it's charged and we'll see how it works. Will update this post as needed. OK had the opportunity to try it. Everything seems to be fine with Hero 8. Paired with the camera everything is fine but it took a while to finish. The only thing that doesn't work is the Asterisk key (an unsupported message), and while the wrench key allows you to connect or open shortcuts (standard, loop, slow, etc.), there doesn't seem to be a way to give one to choose. When pressing the Power/Mode button, it takes some time to connect after turning on the camera. Also, the battery seems to drain pretty quickly. However, most rechargeable batteries need about three charges before they reach full capacity, so we'll have to see how that goes. I like the screen that gives almost the same information as the camera screen. The magnetic closure for the charging cable makes the remote waterproof and feels very secure.
