I bought a65 + 18-55 kit as a gift. I wanted to check the lens and matrix when buying, but it didn’t work out. I took it, hoping for Japanese quality and a seal. The next day I checked the matrix, AF, and what . BACKFOCUS at 0.5-1 DOF, which is very noticeable, but not noticeable enough to change the camera in the store. And judging by the reviews on a specialized forum, problems with the focus of the a65 are a very common thing. And what surprised me the most was the lack of any possibility of adjusting the AF in the menu (now I reproach myself that I missed the functions section when I read the review). Now only the SC can help. And in general, due to the inexplicable lack of various serious settings in the menu, as well as the "toy" implementation of the display of shooting parameters and mode selection, there was a strong feeling that the camera was designed exclusively for beginners . or to force you to fork out for SLT- A77.
