Review on Sennheiser PC 8 2 Cancelling Microphone by Adisorn Srisawam ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The product is the most common, it could be worse.

Used for work-related conferences and events. The sound quality is satisfactory, all of the conversation is audible to me, and the other party did not express any dissatisfaction with the microphone. I plugged it in, and it started working. After the weekend, it stops functioning properly. I plugged it in, and now everything is working properly; however, the same thing happened again the next day, so I inserted it into a different USB port, and ever since then, everything has been fine; perhaps the issue is with the PC or the ports. The microphone is only limply attached, so it does not dangle, but it can be rotated very easily and there is no resistance when doing so. To put it simply, I was right on the precipice. It's hard for me to say whether this is a positive or negative aspect, but I have noticed that there are times when I have to adjust the microphone by raising it slightly. Additionally, on a comparable headset, a coworker's microphone is fixed better, and when you adjust it, you can feel some resistance. The quality of construction of each model is different from the others. The volume control is analog, and when it is adjusted, the balance shifts slightly. As a result, the left earpiece sounds slightly louder than the right one, and you need to find the position where both sound equally loud. The microphone enable switch has a click that operates "on the air," meaning that when it is turned on, all parties involved hear a click, and when it is turned off, all parties involved hear a click. Generally speaking, three. I purchased a one-ear plantronics to replace it, but after using it for four years, I noticed that the cable sheath in the vicinity of the control unit had become slightly loose. Additionally, the headset was tightly integrated with Skype for Business, which made it challenging to use it with other applications. Plantronics was more to my liking.

Pros
  • The speech of the individuals being interrogated can be picked up very clearly. You are always aware that there is sound; all you need to do is amplify it so that it can be heard more clearly. The sound has not been eliminated entirely.
Cons
  • The microphone's attachment is not very strong. Changing the volume causes the balance to become off-kilter. When you are ready to speak into the microphone, you must first click the "on the air" button.
