I love this case! I bought it for my phone to protect it from everyday use. Covers the phone completely. I had to adapt it to my magnetic chargers, it doesn't fit in a case with chargers attached to the phone. I didn't buy it for its water resistance, just to protect it from daily splashes and falls. Despite the cuts I made around the charging port, I decided to take it to the shower and hang it on a hook that saw little water and had absolutely no issues. I really like that the case does not leave fingerprints like screen protectors and there is a carrying strap. However, I had to replace it as it didn't fit in my pocket for work. I'm a substitute teacher and I need my phone when we go to recess and because I use my alarm clock to remind myself of my daily comings and goings. It's not professional to look professional or to walk around the school building all day with a phone in your hand or on your wrist. I will also need it for future work on or near me. Overall I like this case, but I would suggest getting a real screen protector. The body plastic is similar to the thick plastic panels found in cheap picture frames. I don't know if the phone fell hard on the face for the case to actually protect it. I understand the S8 plus screens are notorious for cracking when dropped, but the impact barrier is definitely enough to withstand small drops. I think this would be the perfect phone case for the beach or the pool!
