Review on PMD Personal Microderm Clean by Melissa Garcia

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is average quality for Electric Facial Cleansing Brushes and Devices

Look, I only bought this item when it was on sale for about $68 or so because I didn't want to risk something that expensive. I've been using it every other night for a little less than a month and I'd say it's pretty good. Maybe not $100 is good. Maybe not even for $68. It will soften your skin after the first use, but don't expect it to cleanse your skin. That will not do. In my opinion, this is something like a gentle peeling. Massaging the back of the head to work with serums and moisturizers is a nice touch, but unless you're a skin lover and don't like that sort of thing, this feature will likely be useless to you. A big plus is the fact that it's ergonomic and very easy to hold and use, as well as the fact that it's made of silicone, which means it doesn't collect bacteria. It peels off very easily and is waterproof as long as you don't get the end of the device wet. Someone else in the reviews mentioned that the vibration caused it to "shake your skull". I understand where they're coming from, but I don't necessarily agree. Yes, the last 2 settings are a bit aggressive, but it's only when you press very hard on the face (which you shouldn't be doing anyway) that you'll feel that rumble in your brain. Someone else in the reviews also mentioned that water got into the grip's battery compartment and ruined their batteries, which I didn't experience either. I don't know if it's because I wipe my cleaning swab after use, or if my locking mechanism on the battery compartment is just slightly better than theirs. I took it in the shower to use it if that means anything. Overall, I don't necessarily think this is a bad product, but it's no godsend for me. In my opinion, it's average and definitely not worth the $100 price tag. If you want to treat yourself and can put it up for sale that would be great. However, if you're not willing to spend that kind of money, there are probably much cheaper silicone cleaning pens than this that work just as well.
