I can't stand the feel of spandex or other synthetic socks on my feet especially when they scratch my heels when walking on! Pure cotton socks simply expand and bunch up on the sides, while other so-called cotton socks almost always contain too much synthetic fiber, giving them a creepy look. After a few tries I gave up and decided to try these bamboo socks because bamboo is a natural fiber and most importantly because they have nice muted colors that go with everything I'm wearing. You didn't disappoint us! They have a nice, very light cotton pillow, but they feel a little silkier than cotton, which is ok, I can deal with that. This is just the right height for me as I like to wear Birkenstocks or Oxfords with casual dresses or cropped trousers (so thick cotton socks are easier to find in summer for winter). If you're crazy about non-cotton socks, I highly recommend them. And the manufacturer, I love delicate colors.
