Review on πŸ‘ž Converse Taylor Shoreline Lace Up Sneaker: Stylish Men's Shoes for Fashionable Sneakers by Andy Kucrud

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Converse converted* for trendy sneakers

*UPDATE (2021): Still black based on review; also still has the white tint I got before black and the silver gray I got after. Pinkie chafing is still a problem (I love wearing only shoes, no socks, in the summer. [My Boomer mom sent out a spirit to punish me for this a long time ago - lol] and it will cause a red, cause painful spot on the skin outside of the little toe for an hour or three. When I wear these shoes for long walking or standing, at the end of the day when I take them off I get cramps in my legs as the arch of the foot is zero. I actually had to buy a pair of my old brand sneakers when my kid ended up in NICU because they would never feel comfortable "standing around or banging on the sidewalk".First of all, they're cute shoes. After all, I wear white to everyone day. So they need to be washed frequently. They need to have some sort of oxy additive and you just have to soak or they turn yellow again. Bleach makes this worse, well water (like I started) or with chlorine treated city water (where I am now) - Whites turn yellow without a laundry bleach additive. Hence I am giving a 4 in my rating because these shoes are too expensive to require such care. I've worn nothing but Skechers for over 12 years. Got my first pair of Chuck Taylor Shorelines and loved them. This was my second pair (a white pair is versatile, but I needed a black pair that would go with most of my wardrobe). Comfortable shoes BUT you need Chuck Taylor compatible socks or you could end up with a blister on the outside of your toe.

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • Hard to tell
