Review on 🧹 VF2007 Wet Dry Vacuum Filter: Premium Replacement for Shop-Vac Branded 5 Gallon+ Wet/Dry Vacuums by Lisa Kruit

My previous purchase of a filter for a very old Genie SV300Q wet/dry vacuum - 903-03-19 - is not available so I ordered this one. which claims to fit most units. It fits, but a strong chemical odor overwhelmed me when I opened the shrink wrap around the filter. I leave the exhaust filter outside hoping that's all that's needed. If not, then come back with a defect, as far as I understand. UPDATE: After a few days outside it still had a slight smell but I chose not to return it as I wanted to use my vacuum now rather than next week when I was going to buy a new filter. However, considering the smell, I wouldn't buy this product if I had no other choice. UPDATE: The exhaust smelled bad when I turned the vacuum on so I ordered Fette filters (also from Revain) and this one comes back faulty. MULTI-FIT is washable but does not remove the negative strong unknown chemical smell. The fat filters were odorless.
