Tips are bent on first clip

Tips are bent on first attempt to remove clip. Really bad quality. It's a shame, because the pens make a well-made impression and would be of great value if the most important part, the nibs, could withstand a single use. I had to use pliers and a screwdriver to remove a small clip.
