This is a durable glass and strong metal that goes into it. The lid fits great and the holes in the brewer are tiny but not small enough. I still had to wrap the shredded leaves in a bag, so it was a shot in the dark. That's why I gave 3 stars. With full leaves, however, this is an amazing glass for tea. I put the honey on the bottom, then put the tea in the teapot and added hot water. Worked great. I also like the handle protection so that you don't touch the glass when it's hot! It's great for tea lovers and I definitely recommend it. I suggest only using loose leaf tea and not chopping it too finely.
