Review on Light Northpole Waterproof Spot Flood Mounting by Brian Micheals

Do yourself a favor and move on, not worth it.

I have bought 3 of these lights in the last 2 years mainly because of the price. The old adage is true, you get what you pay for. They are very bright, but short-lived. The first lasted almost 7 months but moisture got in and the LEDs lost 80%. When I ordered the second one, I sealed the lens and frame with silicone and hand-tightened all the screws. It took 9 months for 75% of the LEDs to go out. In the third, I followed the same procedure as the second, but it only took 2 months before 75% of the LEDs burned out. There was no sign of moisture on the last one, just crappy workmanship. Do yourself a favor and don't be stingy, spend your money on a good one, it's not even worth it.

Pros
  • Accent & Off Road Lighting
Cons
  • Retrofit
