Review on ๐Ÿงณ Premium Nelson-Rigg SVT-250: Cruisers' 100% Waterproof Backrest Roll Bag for Ultimate Luggage needs by Eric Schwalbe

Revainrating 2 out of 5

good concept but poor quality and customer service where it matters.

I would love this bag even though it only comes with 2 straps with quick release buckles (although there are 4 places on the bag for those buckles) so don't expect it to be installed in Lengthways on your bike without buying two more straps/buckles from Rigg for $8 + shipping. That's mistake #1. #2 makes the bag almost useless. After 3 weeks of normal use of the sportswear, the loop holding the D-ring began to fray, causing the stitching to tear. This will also happen to you because the buttonhole material is not attached enough to the seam to fray and stretch. Then you say, well, a lifetime guarantee. Yes, to a certain extent. You must pay return shipping to Rigg ($10) to maintain warranty. Add to that the poor email customer service and this bag just won't measure up. The two side zippers that expand the bag are also pretty much useless as they each open up about 1 inch more room. Why not save that complexity as it doesn't add much to the user? This is very bad because it would be good.

Pros
  • High test scores for hold and durability
Cons
  • Empty
