Great value for money

Very basic but gets the job done. The attachment system is designed to mate with the backrest/sissy bar, which was not clear to me from the description. However, I used a few extra straps and bungee and was able to securely attach the bag to my Himalayan backseat. I would 100% recommend this if you have a sissy bar or backrest or are willing to put in a little extra effort to fix it without it. The construction feels solid, the seams are well sealed and none of my gear got wet.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Doesn't work well alone

The size and design is what I was looking for but the sides and bottom are soft making it easy to hang over your rack. It is ideal as a top bag, but not as a tail bag. I ended up just buying a Harley bag for a little more money and it's stiff on the sides and bottom. Also, the nylon lining between the main compartment and side pocket came loose on the first ride, which I helped by slouching on my back over the counter and pulling on the inner lining.

Pros
  • Many fit
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Great solution for more storage space on the bike.

We bought a Nelson-Rigg top-down bag at a motorcycle shop in Reno. After a few trips we realized we needed more luggage space and ordered it from Revain. It attaches perfectly to an extra bag and allows us to go on longer trips with fewer laundry stops. We particularly like the mesh pockets on either side of the bag. They are perfect for storing sunglasses during breaks or bandanas and other small items. The two pockets fit snugly together so there is no fear of them flying away. On warm days…

Beautiful materials, sewn very well, quality assembly.

Very well made, the dimensions given fit me perfectly. The hard plastic inner ring that allows the bag to hold its shape was a little tricky to install but once in, wow. The two large Velcro straps on the back are well designed and durable. My bike didn't require me to use any of the other straps that came with it, it attaches so securely to my sissy bar that you could injure yourself trying to take it off. It goes nowhere but with me. The zippers are of good quality and move easily. The…

Cons
  • Not sure

I would love this bag even though it only comes with 2 straps with quick release buckles (although there are 4 places on the bag for those buckles) so don't expect it to be installed in Lengthways on your bike without buying two more straps/buckles from Rigg for $8 + shipping. That's mistake #1. #2 makes the bag almost useless. After 3 weeks of normal use of the sportswear, the loop holding the D-ring began to fray, causing the stitching to tear. This will also happen to you because the…

  • High test scores for hold and durability

This is an excellent bag for your bike.

This is a great bag for your bike. It's well built and I like the plastic part that slides in while holding its shape. If you follow the instructions it slides in fairly easily and secures so it doesn't move at all. My last bag didn't have that and it sagged a lot in the middle and looked kind of stupid. If you're looking for something big to fit a helmet or lots of gear in, this isn't for you. I've strapped it to a bike that's primarily used for the daily commute and it's perfect for storing…

Great bag, perfect size.

I've had this bag for a month and so far it's perfect for what I need. The quality seems to be very good. The zippers appear to be well made. The only problem I had, and it's minor, was trying to fit a sheet of plastic inside to keep its shape. It was a bit difficult. It is packaged in a flat box and comes with a fairly rigid plastic wrap. I used a pocket length piece of styrofoam to keep it stretched so I could fit this sheet of plastic where it needed to be. You could use something else, like

Nelson Rigg Pak is the best in the luggage

I bought this bag for my 2016 Yamaha Bolt. For the most part I have no complaints about it. It's not listed as waterproof and comes with a separate case, but I got out in the rain without a case and it was still dry inside. It has 4 attachment points on the bike. Two clips, just like a regular sports bike bag. The other two are large Velcro straps that run around the back. The only complaint I can make is that these straps are way too long for my bike. My sissy bar has a thinner profile, only…
