I have waited a bit to write this review to make sure this item does what it does. I have a tank with 2 Red Ear Gliders. And boy are they dirty. We need to drain and replace the water frequently to avoid waterlogging. However, I found that because I added this light I didn't have to change it like I normally would. This doesn't bother the turtles and they just swim around it and if they bump into it the suction cups will hold it to the bottom of the tank. I am happy with the purchase.
