The kit works and does what it's supposed to do: charge the DVR. As others have pointed out, there are no guidelines. OK. If you only use one fuse you will need a multi tester to find out which slot to put the fuse in as there are no instructions. Also, you can clearly see in the picture that the fuse box end of the kit has a bullet connector on the end of the cable, but the USB end is not connected. Since the connector is not included, you will either need to purchase a connector and crimp the end, or replace it entirely. I had a couple of 15w Anderson plugs, so I decided to cut off the barrel connector and replace it. It's not difficult, but it's not plug-and-play; You either need additional parts or you have to modify the kit. So it would be 5 stars because it works great, but deducting 2 stars because it's a headache.
