Review on 📸 Enhance Lens Compatibility with Fotasy Canon FD Lens to Canon EF Adapter by James Dominick

This Fotasy M42 to Canon EOS adapter was just what I needed to fit a vintage Russian Helios lens (and all other vintage M42 lenses) to my Canon 5D mkIII. I'll come back to that later. The build quality is excellent and the editing is very precise as it easily fits my early 80's lens. It also fits my camera perfectly with no play on either side. For you Canon users, it has a red alignment dot for easy attachment. I looked at several similar brands and they are all in the same price range BUT. With a Helios 44-2 lens, this adapter allows you to focus on your full frame Canon (5D mkIII in my body) at infinity without hitting the bottom edge of the mirror with the retractable lens element. I've seen a lot of people use other adapters to modify the metal rear edge of the lens to fit and it freaked me out. I can say that I can focus perfectly with this Fotasy adapter and a metal flange is enough to prevent the lens from being reversed in the DSLR mirror. Now go and take some photos!
