I have to admit I'm not the type to switch a lot of different products. If I can find one that can get the job done effectively and has a great light scent that doesn't overpower and leave my beard like an oily mess. I'm fine and that's where this oil comes in. I'm glad I got it right the first time. I think the Spartan has a regular customer in me who orders the oil, beard balm and shampoo which all do a great job of grooming my beard. I was going to give them 4 stars because I have a very coarse/curly/straight patterned beard and definitely brush it during the day when I'm in public or at work here and there, but it's not by-product defects, it is only genes. I still give them 5 stars, it serves a purpose and that's all I ask!
