Buy them if you really want to travel light

Honestly, these ankle boots are not the best idea for everyday slippers. They also don't work particularly well as beach sandals or dressing room flip flops. There are many things in which they do not excel. But if your goal is to travel light (and we don't set that goal these days, we're forced to by the airlines) this one pair of boots does a pretty good job at best, if not all of the above and more. . You save me the following packing: 1. Bedroom slippers – because who likes to walk barefoot or even in socks through most hotel room floors? 2. Pool/spa shoes - well, you don't want to wear your shoes when you go to the hotel pool, and they don't approve of you walking barefoot out of the elevator and through the lobby, and you get a lot of funny looks when you do try this. this in fluffy slippers.3. Beach Sandals - You can walk barefoot on the beach, but getting to the beach is another matter4. Sandals in a public changing room are disgusting, need I say more? 5. Slippers in flight - hey, your feet are cold and you don't want to go to the bathroom barefoot. The first time I wore them was to start the hotel's ice machine or to go to the lobby for a candy bar and newspaper instead of my Mickey Mouse slippers. I knew I was in these ankle boots was in love. Here's the biggest news...they weigh less than a pair of socks (3.1 ounces for socks versus 2.2 ounces for ankle boots). These travel slippers combine style and functionality. Especially when worn around water. While not woven, they are slightly breathable, but not enough to be considered casual slippers, which isn't really an issue if you're wearing them over a pair of casual socks like you would in a hotel room. Unlike other oversized neoprene boots I've bought, these fit my feet like a glove and feel stylish wherever I wear them. The only downside is that their order page is one of the worst I've seen. There is no size or color chart, instead for some weird reason they use an entirely separate page for each order option and almost hide the size/color info in the text making it incredibly easy to make a mistake. Inexplicably, the tag attached to the booties has an excellent size chart that you can only see after you've already purchased and received the product. They also suggest that you want to run an auto-order to buy a new pair every month, which gives an unwelcome impression of how long the product will last (just a month?). I was ready to put those 4 stars like in "Like". But after getting used to how comfortable, well made and versatile they are, I would upgrade them to just under 5 stars given their complicated ordering process.
