I bought this item as a gift for my husband after he mentioned he might like it. I looked at a few kimonos and settled on this one for a number of reasons including the length (just below my husband's knee) and the design (he wanted kites). I gave it to him as an early Christmas present and he loved it. I guess I missed the part where he wore shorts but he likes them too and even sleeps in them. Although the bathrobe is more suitable for warmer weather, my husband likes it very much, which makes me very happy.
