I wasn't sure if it was suitable for gas welders
In a nutshell, after a few uses and no special treatment it just broke. Not one, but two that I bought at the same time. Although they were good when they worked. The safety was awkward to turn on, but the trigger lock was nice. One always let all the fuel run out, it wasn't used, the other switched off the lights. I generally buy more of these, but they might work for you.
