Great for work! I keep a pair at home, one in my desk drawer at work, and a third in my computer bag when I travel. A set doesn't fully connect and doesn't get that hot, but they work great when I'm working. I won't stop wrapping my arms around my neck. They get very hot and I just unplug them.
