we used them for Halloween this year; We pack up to three snack-sized treats in each bag (two easily fit), then place them on the table for the kids to grab one. You have to be careful when inserting the candies as the plastic is flimsy (don't press too hard or all the candies at once) but only a couple of the bags are torn and just a little bit on one of the seams. They sealed well and my only complaint was that the plastic strips that came off were sticky (they stuck to my hands and clothes). With this you get a lot of pockets and a few different decorations.
