Not bad for the price but I don't know if they are FCC approved. I've also seen videos showing that similar models aren't around 8 watts. More like 4. And I've read that when they transmit, they transmit spurious emissions on other frequencies. I was wondering why Mirkit radios cost twice as much as other advertised versions of the same radio, but Mirkit isn't answering my questions. They fit my needs as now I only use them for receiving and communicating SHTF.
