The perm solution worked as advertised. Leave-In Firming Spray may contain gluten. The hydrolyzed vegetable protein component Pg-propylsilanetriol can be obtained from gluten. A small amount of leave-in strengthening spray from one of the boxes of perm kits spilled onto the box. I'm allergic to gluten and got hives from touching the Leave-In Firming Splash. I poured all my firming leave-in spray down the drain and used the perm kits without it. The perm solution worked great without the leave-in strengthening spray. The product should be better sealed.
