You have a deformity.
We live in a hot climate although I don't think the plates were noticeably warped from shipping. There are also tiny indentations that look like small holes. They don't lick. I ordered them for a family reunion and for the holidays. The plates measure 9 inches from edge to edge, however the edge is raised so the serving surface is actually 6 inches. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this time I thought it would be better to share so others aren't disappointed with what they got.
