No more cable bulge, good for tight spaces.
My bed has an outlet so the cords don't stick out an inch and a half. By orienting the plugs up or down, the cables don't bend or trip the charger, which is just nice. However, be careful when using such chargers. While they work great in tight spaces, let them breathe. You get hot. Sometimes it's very hot. It's usually good to have a palm-width surface that isn't touched by anything. Don't lean any furniture against it. Especially the sofa or bed (I keep mine at a safe distance).
