My hallway bathroom used to have a window, but an extension was added to the back of the house, eliminating the window; and the bathroom never had a ventilation system to deal with the "steam"/moisture. I installed a nice faucet which I really liked (I hate concealed faucets) but it seemed wobbly and after careful investigation we concluded that this was due to moisture remaining on the faucet after the hot water in the bathroom bathroom had evaporated. Not good. I chose this light because it's sealed (don't let moisture in!) and I have another room with LED light and I love that we don't have to change bulbs. I'm small, that's a win. However, there are things I don't like. It's easy, it's boring. Looks ok but the fixture and the light it lets through gives my bathroom a very "clinical" look. I don't feel like the lighting is "uniform" throughout the room. It's not a big bathroom, but it has a closet, so there are more than four corners in the room, and I think there's some shade in some corners (not really a problem, just an observation). If you had a large room you would probably want more than one. Installation was a nightmare. The wiring in my house sucks, mind you, but that really made it suck. We had far too many cables trying to get through places than this thing (that's not an issue with the other device) and some of the cables broke trying to deal with them, so we had to purchase additional items to finish. installation (and my bathroom was without lights during the day). In general it will do. I hope the moisture issue gets resolved, I don't have to climb up the toilet and vanity to try to change the lightbulbs and my bathroom light is back on.
