Before buying I read a review about not being able to see through the network. I didn't think it would be a problem but it really is if you have a pet with little flying experience. If that's the case, I'd recommend getting a bag with a good view in the bag, at least from the top. I kept having to unpack a bit to check on my Chihuahua. That is the only criticism of this bag. I have an 8 lb long haired Chihuahua that fits perfectly in this bag, it was the right size for him. The quality of the bag is excellent. It fits nicely under an airplane seat, but you'll need to push the top down about an inch for it to fit properly.
