So it was easy to connect the mirror to the base. Large size and you can adjust the angle you want, it stays in place. Fits perfectly in a suitcase or holdall. I bought this to take with me when I work for my freelance makeup business. Mine turns on but doesn't dim the light at all. Doesn't fade, doesn't get brighter. So it was a big disappointment.
